Responsibilities:

  • Software Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements and specifications for telecommunications software. Design scalable, reliable, and high-performance software solutions that meet industry standards and best practices.

  • Prototyping: Create prototypes and proofs of concept to validate design ideas and ensure the feasibility of proposed solutions. Iterate on designs based on feedback and testing.

  • Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize software components to ensure fast data processing, low latency, and efficient resource utilization.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, network architects, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of software with hardware and network infrastructure.

  • Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation describing the solution

  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and standards in the telecommunications industry. Apply new knowledge to improve software design and development processes.

  • Project Management: Participate in project planning, estimation, and tracking activities. Adhere to project timelines and deliver software solutions on schedule.

  • Create and change products and services using configurations tools and SQL queries

  • Handle Complaints and Requests in relation to the configuration of systems

  • Fix and reprocess failed requests due to wrong configuration or system failure

  • Support end user test

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements

  • Perform tasks accurately and up to our quality standard

  • Maintain knowledge base and documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Understanding and ability to read Java, Python, PL/SQL code

  • Familiarity with telecommunications concepts, protocols, and network architecture.

  • Experience in managing and configuring Ericsson CS, Ericsson BSCS, Ericsson VSME is highly desirable

  • Knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

  • Knowledge of Basic Linux commands

  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development tools.

  • Previous experience in telecommunications software development is a plus.
