Are you a highly motivated Senior Accountant looking to gain valuable experience at a highly prestigious organization?

The successful candidate will join a team of highly motivated and skilled architects working on a number of complex and exciting projects.

Responsibilities:

• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing pay checks.
• Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports.
• Control and review projects’ budget with commercial team.
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies.
• Preparation of tax reports and control over tax related issues.
• Other accounting tasks.

Essential requirements & skills:

• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or similar field
• At least 5 years of experience in the accounting function
• In depth knowledge of tax code
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English language
• Proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel
• Understanding of data privacy standards
• Superior attention to detail
• Planning skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Multi-tasking skills

Desirable requirements:

• MSc/MA in Accounting, Finance or similar field or MBA
• Previous experience in Construction company
• Proficient in the use of ERP systems (e.g. Coins)
