University Psychologist
Position Type: Part time
Reports To: Executive director (Management)
Responsibilities:
Individual Counseling: Provide confidential individual counseling and therapy sessions to university students
Group Counseling: Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic group sessions on topics such as stress management, resilience building, and interpersonal skills.
Outreach and Prevention: Develop and implement mental health awareness and prevention programs, workshops, and seminars for the university community.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions
Job requirements:
Excellent level in English: applicants must be able to teach in English in their topic (chemistry);
Master in Counselling Psychology or equivalent;
A degree or equivalent professional qualification
Experience in providing counseling and psychological services, preferably in an educational or university setting;
Strong knowledge of counseling techniques, crisis intervention, and mental health assessment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ethical and confidential work ethic.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
